See the two big red splotches on Bradyn's torso? Those would be ant bites. We were at the park a whole 20 min. before Bradyn was attacked by an ant. He was trying to be like the big boys and climb rocks. He got stuck and that gave the ant enough time to get in his shoe and bite his foot. It then climbed up his leg into his onsie and bit twice before I figured out what the problem was. Ant bites must really hurt. I couldn't really make him happy, so we had to leave. He instantly fell asleep after medicine and some rocking chair time. Poor kid, as if he hasn't had enough to deal with lately. One good thing came out of it. My kids weren't ready to leave, so Becky volunteered to keep them until Bradyn wakes up from his nap. I now have three hours of blogging and house cleaning! Thanks Becky!

Pooor Bradyn :( I am so sorry to hear he got bit, that is the saddest!! I hate creepy crawlies!! Every night we have to go pick snails out of our garden and we always see an assortment of gross creatures: centipedes, potato bugs, various spiders, earwhigs and worms...eeeewwww!!! YUCK!! I bought some poison for our "kingdom of the ants" pile - that is not good to have in the backyard where Cameron is playing, i think not. Feel better fast Bradyn!!
You should seriously consider never taking Bradyn to the park again. It only ends in pain for him(and you). Alright maybe not one of my finer solutions but the poor kid, how much more "fun" can he take at the park? lol
next time you have a case of ant bites, use a roll-on deodorant on the bite. it takes the sting out.
