With a Little Imagination You Can Go Anywhere!

My new favorite saying: "With a little imagination you can go anywhere!" I just got back from seeing Nim's Island with my son and my mom. What a fun movie! It was so nice to sit there and not have to worry about the naughty little thing they slipped in. All around good clean fun. It was far fetched, but it was supposed to be. Just like reading books. It would never happen, but isn't it fun to slip into a world that isn't your own? My favorite part of the movie is where Nim is reading a book. Her whole room disappears. She is laying on her bed with a big smile, while what she is reading is happening all around her. She also has all these friends that are animals. It made me think of my little Lexi. She has such an imagination! She has imaginary friends and lots of them. Her favorite is Christine (whom came along when she saw Phantom for the first time). This morning Lexi told me that Christine was so excited because she gets to go to the park. She then left my room talking to Christine. Sometimes I would like to be in her head. The photo in the blog is Lexi just letting loose in the mountains at Pine Valley. Shirtless, can't let the boys leave her out. She was the only little girl there that day.

Then there is Wyatt. He lives in video game land. It is all about Mario and what he, Luigi and all the other characters on the Wii do.

Imagination is a wonderful thing. Kids live in it! Seize the moment, pretend and play with your child. Before you know it the days go by and childhood is gone.

Where do you want to go today?

I can't believe how long Christine was a secret for us! Now she comes to my house to play and even Karly asks about her when Little Lexi is here! We always have to include her! I love imaginations! They are absolutely priceless!

I do love there imaginations. Izzy now brings her doll's and stuffed animals to the potty with her. They always go first and she makes peeing sounds, cracks me up! I think it's hilarious about Christine, she really is gorgeous, what little girl wouldn't love her! I'll have to check out Nim's Island when it comes out, I honestly haven't even heard of it.
