I am a specialist!

I help teach orchestra every morning to 4th and 5th graders. The orchestra teacher found out I played viola when I was young and asked if I could help. I thought sure, I can remember enough to muddle through it. What I did not know is that I would be teaching private lessons and parents would be sent notes saying their child is learning from a specialist. Ha! Me a specialist in playing the Viola. I am sooooo laughing. I can play the notes, but can't remember the names of them. The viola cleff is totally different from the treble and bass cleff. What looks like an f is not an f. Why do I need to know the name, if I know how to play it? I never did quite master vibrato. Needless to say, I did my very best today, which turned out to be quite well.
I hope the medical specialists that perform surgeries and prescribe medicine know more than I do about playing the viola, or we will all be in BIG trouble!

I've ALWAYS known you were a specialist in sooooo many ways. Mothering is number one among MANY. Now music? What is next? I can't wait to find out! Congrats. I would feel very honored if I were you. Way to go!
