Where's the Onion?
This was too funny to just put on my sidebar. Wyatt has a friend that he doesn't play with very often. We live up on the hill, they live in the valley. Maybe a whole five miles, but us moms aren't always good at coordinating play time. He called this friend Sat. morning and was told by his mother that he can't play because he has the flu. Wyatt started getting teary and I said don't cry. He politely swallowed the sound of tears and told his friend's mom he hopes his friend gets better. He hangs up the phone and with very watery eyes, and a very serious, sad voice says: "There must be an onion in here." Yes, I keep onions in the master bedroom just for such occasions! To all you macho people out there, when tears knock on the door blame it on the onion!

Where does he come up with this stuff? My kids wouldn't know the difference; onions are not allowed at our house!
That's pretty darn cute and sweet.

I need to remember that one when I have a tender moment
