Happy Labor Day!

We went to Kolob for Labor Day. I only took one picture. We had a great weekend. We were able to witness first hand an amazing mountain storm. It started in the evening with hail the size of pea's. It subsided long enough to get the tent prepared and everyone tucked in and then unleashed its fury. We had pounding rain, bright lightening and thunder that made your heart pound like crazy. It was scary and awesome all at the same time. We woke up to a beautiful morning and enjoyed 4-wheeling in the mud. I know how much Lacee likes Brad Paisley. His song "Mud on the Tires" describes my Labor Day perfectly! My poor brother and his family had to "rough it" in a camper with no electricity. Their battery went dead and one of their girls woke up in the night and had to poo. They actually had to go outside for such a thing. Good thing our tent had all the modern conveniences like a natural slope, hard as a rock mattresses and great starlight! I hope everyone else had a great weekend. Next holiday-Deer Hunt or should I say quality education days.

What a cute pic...LOL so funny! I bet you had a great time, I was so bummed for not having done anything very fun this summer so I decided next summer with the new baby, we will do a lot more! Camping is just too fun to pass up! Glad you had a good time! :)
