My Beautiful, Graceful Grandmother

My grandmother turned 90 on December 25, 2007. I have always looked up to my grandmother. She is one of my hero's. I used to go spend summers with them after we moved to St. George. My fondest memories of going to visit are: Their yard, hanging the clothes out to dry, grocery shopping at Cub Foods, walking around the duck pond, walks around the block, fishing at Steamboat, getting gruff from grandpa for taking too long in the bathroom, visiting my cousin, sitting on the back patio, playing croquet, playing Kings Corner, fresh vegetables from the garden, poached eggs, and giving Grandpa more ice cream than Grandma approved of. I don't know if she knows this, but I would load up his bowl, she would notice and make me take some out. Then she would leave the kitchen, I would re-load the bowl and deliver to Grandpa. That is how granddaughters make brownie points. Grandpa lived until he was 91. We all miss him dearly. I am so glad my grandmother is still around and doing so well. I love and miss you grandma.

You are lucky to have such fond memories of your Grandma and that she is still alive. She is a beautiful woman. I hope I can look that great when I'm 90! Hats off to the generations of old. They really took care of themselves and really do want what's best for us! We should have started listening a long time ago!

She is one sharp Grandma.

She's also never misses a birthday, there is always a card from great-grandma. Haden even received a card when he broke his arm. :)
She is awesome!
